I’m luthier Wes Van de Vyver and I grew up on the east coast of South Africa before moving to the UK. Vyver Guitars started from a love of the instrument and a desire to spend more time creating things by hand, a counter balance to the screen-heavy pace of modern life.

Now based in Folkestone, Kent, I’ve returned to the coast, taking inspiration from seaside living.

Each guitar is built by hand, one at a time, with care and focus on playability, great tone, and quality materials. A Vyver guitar isn’t off the shelf, it’s a custom-built instrument tailored to the individual specifications of each player.
