This is the home of luthier Wes van de Vyver. I grew up on the east coast of South Africa before moving to the UK. Vyver Guitars started from a love of the instrument and a desire to spend more time creating things by hand, a counter balance to the screen-heavy pace of modern working life.

Now based in Folkestone, Kent, I’ve returned to coastal living with the sea and surroundings naturally influencing the guitars I build.

Each guitar is built by hand, one at a time, with a focus on playability, great tone, solid craftsmanship, and quality materials — instruments made to be played and to last.
